Hello,

My name is Lindsey and I am so excited to be working at AMIO with its amazing staff and wonderful students. I was born and raised in California in the United States before moving to Colorado where I attended university. I graduated college in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Communications, where I studied in great detail the rhetoric and practice of how we communicate using the English language. I believe communication is the key to bringing different cultures together and promoting positive international relations. It is because of this belief that I decided to come to China to teach English. I have always loved traveling and am fascinated with experiencing different cultures around the world. I choose to teach in China specifically because Eastern culture is so different from in the U.S. I love stepping out of my comfort zone, being challenged, and am excited to be apart of an experience that is life-changing. Being in China has allowed me to try new things everyday. Everything from the food to the fashion is different and exciting and everyday here brings new experiences and challenges.

In my spare time, I love doing anything active and outdoors. From hiking to surfing to camping, I love it all. I also love warm weather but have come to appreciate the change in seasons since moving to China from Los Angeles, California (where winter and fall are basically nonexistent). Here in Weifang, China, I really enjoy the small town vibe mixed with the feel of being in a big city. While I\'m here, I\'m looking forward to partaking in the famous kite festival in the Spring and to running the Weifang Marathon next fall.

Since moving to China, I have learned more in these couple months about Chinese culture and history than I could in a lifetime of studying back home. I am amazing at how insightful and creative my students are here at AMIO and I hope to make a positive impact on their lives as they have for me.

嗨，大家好,我是Lindsey! 在亚美欧我遇见了卓尔不群的同事，出类拔萃的学员，这是我为之亢奋不已的一件事。我成长于美国加利福尼亚州，在科罗拉多州度过了受益终身的大学生活，专修英语的实际应用与修辞学，于2011年毕业，获得语言交流专业学士学位。我坚信沟通是百家争鸣百花齐放的基石，是推动国际关系明朗化的关键。正是基于这个信念，我来到了中国来到了我们亚美欧。我自小就钟爱旅游，痴迷于世界各国独有的文化，我选择来中国任教，因为东方神韵是如此让我着迷，我要踏出习惯已久的舒服区，去迎接全新的挑战，去享受全然不同的人生。在中国的每一天都是新奇的，从街边小吃到东方时尚，于我都是经历是成长。

闲暇之余，我喜欢到户外去，登山、冲浪、野营，我统统都爱！与洛杉矶、加利福尼亚的无冬无秋相比，我享受中国的四季分明。在中国，在潍坊，在这里，我沉浸在乡村风情与都市繁华的融合中，我期待潍坊春天的风筝节，期待潍坊秋天的马拉松！自从来到了中国，我接触到了在美国一辈子也接触不到的中国文化与传统历史，亚美欧学员们的洞察力与创造力让我惊叹不已，我要像他们一样，尽我所能带给学员们积极向上的正能量。
